![]() ![]() Me and my boyfriend both received “we miss you” offers from Grand Casino with free rooms, free play and food coupons. I can live without the seafood (the other food was adequate) but to make a big deal out of it and not produce is discerning. The pictures of shrimp and crab legs look tempting in the hotel's brochures and guest directory but were obviously absent from the buffet tables. My only other disappointment was the lack of (if any) seafood that was advertised for the seafood buffet on the Tuesday night I was there. It is odd that smoking is not allowed in many places in the entire stucture but the state of Minnesota lets casinos have smoking. Needless to say, I lasted about ten minutes. I am not a gambler but wanted to spend a little time and money on the casino floor only to be engulfed and made uncomfortable by the smoke coming from the other gamblers. But, from the moment you walk in the lobby the smell of cigarette smoke hits you. The personnel were very helpful and polite. The pool was roomy and the hot tub was very good. The room was nice and clean with the usual anemities. The choice of a good hotel in this area is bleak other than staying at the Grand Casino. ![]()
